2003 Book/Multimedia award winner is Julie M. Fenster who received the award for her book, Ether Day. The Anesthesia Foundation announces the Book/Multimedia Education Award to be presented 2008 at the American Society of Anesthesiologists Annual Meeting. This prestigious award will be awarded for excellence and innovation in books or multimedia with significant impact on the science and practice of anesthesiology, critical care, or pain medicine. No more than two-author submissions are eligible. The award is $10,000 (to be divided if there are two authors), plus expenses for first author and guest to attend the Academy of Anesthesiology 2009 Spring meeting in St. Petersburg, Florida.
